You can create five types of sites from the available templates:

  1. Channel - Has a large preview window - best choice for a site with many channels.
  2. Content - The best choice for a site with fewer channels focusing on commenting and user interaction.
  3. UGC - A page allowing for user generated content. Great for campaigns or to increase employee engagement.
  4. Simple - A single page site that enables you to share a single video on a branded page.
  5. Modern - A clean and modern design, mobile and tablet friendly. Great for social commenting and sharing.

To create a site:

  1. Select SITES from the top menu
  2. Click Create site

  3. Select Media Portal

  4. Enter the name of your site (this will form part of the site URL)

Words like 'content', 'area', 'views' should not be used as a part of the Site Name/URL.

  5. Click Save

  7. Click the Design button below the new site

Your site appears in the sites list with a status of New. This site will not be visible until it has a status of Published.
