To activate this feature, the account must have the SSO module. Contact your Client Services Associate for more information.
How does it work?
Sites single sign on (SSO) provides secure access to video content using standard corporate security policies.
Viostream provides the ability to authenticate users from the client's Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) to ensure seamless and secure access control for their employees. SSO enables a streamlined workflow for viewers to login to a video portal using existing employee credentials and with no need to use a separate Viostream login and password.
Viostream supports SSO access across multiple sites or video portals and gives client administrators control over viewer access using existing security groups within their organisation (e.g. Executive or HR only can view a particular video portal). Restricted access is controlled within Viostream 6.5 through the Restricted Login window:
What does it do?
- Active Directory Integration. Secure access using existing employee credentials.
- Support for Groups. Limit access to members of specific groups in your active directory. This is managed by the client. Separate sites need to be set up for each group.
- Configurable across multiple sites. Add to one or many Viostream Sites within a client's account.
- Strong Authentication. Using industry standard protocols (SAML & SSL).
