Viostream’s reporting feature is available for your Media, Live, Sites and Players data. Through this module, you can see your current data in a simple and easy to use format through two main reports: the Overview Report; and the Detail Report. These reports are available as options from the left panel on the REPORTING page in the Viostream console.
In addition, more specific detail is available for:
- Media data through the Plays and Engagement Reports;
- Live data reports
- Sites through the Media and Audience Reports;
- Players through the Embed Domain Report
The Overview Report
The Overview Report structure is comprised of:
- A chart area
- A table listing the most popular assets for the report type
Understanding the Overview Report layout
All of the reports are structured in a similar way. Each is made up of: a chart area; a statistics overview area; and a section at the bottom of the page that displays your detailed report data in a table.
The chart area
The chart area displays a graphical representation of your report data.
Some reports include Chart By links that allow you to change the information displayed in the chart.
You can also hover your mouse over the chart to see the exact number of views on a particular date.
Most popular assets
A list of the most popular assets is displayed below the chart area. They include:
- The number of plays and
- The % of total plays
The table area
Searching for data by date or date range
Use the date range drop down field at the top right of the page to enter the dates to narrow your report results.
You can also perform a quick search for data by selecting results for This month or Last month.
Summary statement
Displayed at the top of all reports and indicates the number of times your media was played during the report period.
