• How do I embed a Media Asset using javascript?
  1. From the Library, locate the Media Asset you wish to share and click on its title.
  2. Click the Embed link under the preview Player.
  3. Click the Copy code button to copy the javascript snippet to your clipboard.
  4. Add the javascript to your external web page and publish it.

• How do I embed a video on Wordpress?
  1. From the Library, locate the asset you wish to share and click on its title.
  2. Click the Embed link under the preview Player
  3. Click the Copy code button to copy the javascript snippet to your clipboard.
  4. In Wordpress, edit the post where you want to embed your video.
  5. Click the Add block button
  6. Type html in the search bar and choose “Custom HTML”.
  7. Paste the script tag in the HTML box.
  8. Save and publish your post.

  Note: the “Custom HTML” feature may not be available in some hosted Wordpress instances (e.g. free Wordpress.com plans)

• How do I enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

  Note: if you have enabled SSO access to Viostream, MFA is controlled by your SSO provider and not by Viostream.

  Viostream supports Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) using any Time-based One-time-Password (TOTP) application such as:

  • Google Authenticator
  • Authy
  • Microsoft Authenticator
  • LastPass Authenticator

  MFA is enabled on your user account in the same familiar way as many other applications. You can find the MFA settings in your user settings menu, which you can access by clicking your username in the top navigation menu and selecting My settings.

  To enable MFA, follow the instructions in the MFA panel on the user settings screen.

• How do I make a Player the default for my account?

  New Viostream accounts use a default Viostream Player with some standard settings. You can set a custom Player to be your account default Player. This will impact all links and embed for assets across the account, unless a specific player is specified on a per-embed basis.

  1. Navigate to the Players Library.
  2. Select the Title of the Player you wish to make default.
  3. Click the Set this as the default player toggle.
  4. Click Update to confirm.
  5. You can confirm on the Players tab that the correct default has been set.

• How do I reset my password?
  1. Sign out of Viostream
  2. Type your email address into the login form
  3. Click the Forgot your password? link
  4. Type your email address again and click Submit

  After completing the above steps, we will send you an email containing a password reset link.
