Set a Default Player

New Viostream accounts use the built-in default Player. You can replace this with any custom Player profile you have created. The default Player is applied to all video links and embeds that do not specify a Player explicitly.

Set a Player as the account default​

  1. Navigate to the  Settings page.
  2. Click the Embed Players tab.
  3. Locate the Player you wish to set as default and click the Edit Player button.
  4. Click the menu at the top right of the page.
  5. Select Set as default player from the dropdown.
  6. Click Set Player as Default to confirm.

You can confirm the change from the Embed Players tab — the default Player is indicated on its card.

tip

Setting a new default only affects embeds that do not have a Player explicitly assigned. Embeds that reference a specific Player key are unaffected.
