Lock Default Restriction Profile
Workspace administrators can now lock the default restriction profile to prevent non-admin users from overriding audience settings on individual media items.
When a default restriction profile is set on a workspace, it applies to all new uploads automatically. Previously, any user with access to the audience settings could change the profile on individual items. The new Lock default restriction profile toggle in workspace security settings prevents this -- non-admin users see a read-only view of the audience settings, while admins can still override with an explicit confirmation step.
This is particularly useful for organisations with compliance or governance requirements that need consistent access control across their media library.
To get started, navigate to your workspace Security Settings and enable the toggle. For more detail, see our Locking the Default Restriction Profile guide.
