Channel Single Sign-On (SSO)

ยท 2 min read

Channels now support Single Sign-On (SSO) via OpenID Connect (OIDC). Workspace admins can connect their company's identity provider once, then enable SSO login on any channel โ€” giving enterprise viewers a way to authenticate with their corporate credentials instead of a one-time email code.

Once connected, viewers on an SSO-enabled channel are redirected to your identity provider to sign in, then returned straight to the content. If a viewer previously signed in via email, their existing viewing history and access are preserved when their account is linked to their SSO identity.

Getting started:

  1. In Console, go to workspace settings and connect your OIDC identity provider โ€” see our guides for Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, or any generic OIDC provider.
  2. Open a channel's audience settings and select Viewers sign in with SSO.
  3. Share the channel link โ€” viewers now sign in with their corporate credentials.

See Restrict your Channel with SSO for full setup details.

Channel SSO is available on the Enterprise plan.
