Embedding into SharePoint
SharePoint is a web-based collaborative platform primarily used for building corporate intranets, document and content management, and file sharing. You can easily embed your Viostream videos into your SharePoint pages to enhance communications with your employees and other stakeholders.
Enable Viostream embeds in SharePoint
This step requires admin access to your SharePoint instance.

- Navigate to your SharePoint site's home page.
- Click the Site contents link in the top menu.
- Click the Site settings link in the top right sub-menu.
- Click the HTML Field Security link in the Site Settings list.
- Either:
- (recommended) Select the Allow contributors to insert iframes only from the following domains
option and add
viostream.com
to the list of allowed domains. - (less secure) Select the Allow contributors to insert iframes from any domain option.
- (recommended) Select the Allow contributors to insert iframes only from the following domains
option and add
- Click OK
You will need to enable viostream.com
embeds for every site where you will embed
videos - this setting is not available organisation-wide.
Embed a Viostream video in SharePoint
- Open up the SharePoint editor for the page your would like to embed your video into.
- Click the (Add a new web part...) button where you would like to embed your video.
- Click the Embed component.
- Navigate to your video in the Library and click the Share button.
- Click the Embed tab.
- Click the Fixed Size option.a
- Click the Copy Embed Code button.
- Navigate back to SharePoint and paste the embed code into the Website address or embed code field.
- Click the save or update button.
SharePoint does not support responsive embeds. You can adjust the size of your embed, either in the Viostream share modal, or by using SharePoint's Resize to fit the page option.
If you reupload the video with a changed aspect ratio, you will need to update the embed code in SharePoint.
