Managing viewer access

Configure who can watch your Event from the Audience tab on your event page.

Turning on viewer sign-in

By default, anyone with the link can watch. To require sign-in, click Enable viewer sign-in and choose an access mode:

  • Anyone can sign in — any viewer can sign in with their name and email. There's no password to remember — viewers receive a one-time code by email
  • Invite only — only viewers you've explicitly invited can sign in

You can turn viewer sign-in back off at any time from the same Settings button — your event becomes public again, and any previous viewers are restored if you turn it back on later.

tip

Publish your event before inviting viewers — invitations sent for an unpublished event will link to a page that isn't available yet.

Inviting viewers

Once sign-in is enabled, use Invite viewers to add people:

  • Invite a viewer — send a single invite by entering a first name, last name, and email address
  • Import a list — upload a CSV file (First name, Last name, Email address per row) to bulk-invite up to 500 viewers at a time. Preview the imported list before confirming

The viewer list

Once sign-in is enabled, the Audience tab shows everyone who's signed in or been invited:

  • Active — signed in and able to watch
  • Invited — invited, but not yet signed in
  • Suspended — blocked from signing in

Use the search box to find a specific viewer across all statuses, and Export CSV to download the full list.
