Uploading a Media Asset is the first step in publishing your video. After you login, you’ll be taken to your Library. This is where you can manage all the Media in your account.
So without further ado, let’s upload your first Media Asset!
Uploading Media
- Click on New Media
- Browse and select the file to upload
- Wait while your Media Asset is processed
Once your file has been uploaded, we will process it so that it is suitable for streaming. This typically takes 0.5x - 0.8x the length of your video - so for a five minute video it should be done in 3-4 minutes.

Viostream supports a wide range of codecs and containers.
Media approval process
For users with the Creator role, Media will be uploaded in the Pending Review state. You will be able to edit the title and description of your Media Asset, and edit and publish the Automated Captions.
Admin or Publisher users can approve Media for publication by navigating to the Pending Review section of the Library.
